How We Score

An explanation of how the diagnostic quiz estimates level, what AI scoring does, and where the model differs from the official exam.

The quiz estimates CELPE-Bras readiness by combining answer-key sections with AI-scored writing signals, then mapping the combined result to CELPE-Bras-style levels. It is a diagnostic estimate, not an official or complete certification result.

Important: The diagnostic does not reproduce the official oral component and should not be treated as a substitute for an official CELPE-Bras result.

What the Diagnostic Measures

How AI Scoring Is Used

AI scoring is used only for the written-response portions of the diagnostic. The prompts are structured around the official CELPE-Bras dimensions, but the output remains an estimate. The AI is there to provide fast feedback and directional placement, not to replace certified human evaluation.

Where This Differs from the Official Exam

How to Use the Result

Use the score to decide what to study next, whether you are close to the level you need, and whether you should verify your assumptions with official past tasks or a teacher. Do not use the result as proof of certification for work, immigration, or university decisions.
